Kids Games Apps
These focus on building vocabulary through tactile learning activities. Most commonly are our “flip card“ games where learners search for pairs of matching cards, while listening to your community’s Indigenous names of relevant animals, numbers, colors or placenames when a card is picked.
Other options can tailor the audio queues to reward or redirect learners in your language. After all, young Indigenous language learners already know what “yes”, “good job”, “no”, and “try again” mean in English. But what about your language’s phrases for affirmation, encouragement and support?
You can choose how many cards (2×2, 4×4 and 6×6), and how to pair your cards: matching pictures, pictures matched with the Indigenous words or pairs of associated words. You can supply the images or draw from our catalogue.
